Single Lady Estates® Launches Channel on TalkShopLive® Celebrating the 48th Anniversary of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Allowing Women to Obtain Credit in Their Own Name, Helping to Open Doors to Homeownership
Los Angeles, CA, October 25, 2022 – Single Lady Estates®, a company dedicated to improving women’s full homeownership lifecycle experience, today announces its channel launch on TalkShopLive®, the leading consumer streaming platform. The launch is timed to celebrate of the 48th Anniversary of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (“ECOA”) which “prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, or age in credit transactions.” Prior to the ECOA in 1974, single women had a hard time in obtaining credit on their own and many banks required married women’s husbands to co-sign credit applications.
On Friday, October 28th, at 4:30pm PT/7:30pm ET, join the Single Lady Estates Channel for a discussion with women diverse in age, ethnicity and experience. With the underlying commonality of experiencing life as a woman, we will explore how far we've come and how far we still need to go. Attendees will be able to ask questions live as well as share their own stories.
